Light Weight Sweater with Tights

May 2, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

My favorite thing to wear in the Spring time is just a very light weight sweater with tights underneath. The sweater need to be long and thin and run just below the buttocks. With an outfit like this, you will remain modern with today’s ever changing fashion. It is a very simple look; however, I feel that many people will agree that it is a quite attractive style to go by.

It is simple to find the items you need to complete this outfit. A store such as Body Central will have everything you need to pull it off. The includes the sweater, the tights, and even a few accessories to pull it all together. I always look for earrings or necklaces or maybe the occasional bracelet in the same color as the sweater. I don’t like to over do it though, so I only pick one accessory to match.

One of the best times to wear an outfit like this is when you are just going out to the mall or even something as dressy as a dinner event. It is light weight so it won’t make you sweaty and uncomfortable. This is a very good option for almost any event.

Medium Brown Knee Length Linen Skirt

Spring is coming, and it’s time to get the light skirts out of the closet. Not too light,
though; as we all know, spring can be fickle. But it’s the time of year when bare calves can
again peek out from under our hemlines!

Thus, it’s time for the warm-weather debut of my very favorite skirt, a knee-length linen one
with gores to give it fullness and swing. It’s a nice medium brown that goes with many spring
tops, and the color also makes it easy to ignore any little bits of dirt that messy spring
weather may present me with.

Being a full skirt, it helps define my waist (a consideration for those of us who are carrying
a few extra pounds), and the flattering knee length also makes me look a little taller. With
tights it’s OK for those days when March is being a lion; with nylons and great shoes it’s
good when the weather warms up too. And the really great part is, since it’s a skirt it’s a
little more formal than slacks in the same fabric would be, so I can wear it dressed up or down
depending on the occasion.

Colorful Winter Palette

Layering is a great way to be fashionable and keep warm during the winter months.  It can be a great way to bring color to an otherwise neutral, winter color palette too.  Consider wearing tights or leggings with your skirts.  To make it fun wear ones that are colorful, or have patterns such as stripes.  A short sleeved top over a long sleeved one can look great while also keeping you a bit more cozy.  A t-shirt over a long sleeved tee can be a great casual look.  Or if the shirt on top has buttons it can serve as “jacket” like look.  A sweater over an oxford shirt, with the addition of a scarf and belt can look very smart.  The possibilities when it comes to layering are endlessly stylish.
