Short Shorts for Summer

July 22, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

Shorts create instant horizontal lines across the thighs. Women who have good looking legs would like to show off their legs this summer. I love shorts because you look fashionable and professional while staying cool in the summer. My favourite pair of shorts for summer is the grey coloured b132 Cute Short Hot Pants.

This pair of shorts is sexy low rise short shorts which looks seasonal. It has two angled side pockets and is 4″ inseam and zip fly with two buttons implying that it’s a button closure. Every time I wear it, it brings out the clear shape of my hips, makes me feel comfortable, relaxed, simple and attractive. It’s cheap and has a long lasting fabric, easy to wash both hand wash and machine wash. It draws attention away from a complete look since they are form-fitting and can be matched with a simple stylish top and simple flip-flops.

My friends keep asking me where I buy my shorts, so that they can go and buy them too. They say that it looks short but attractive for summer. I shop online because that is where I get array of collections and sometimes I walk to the Latin Dance Store that is where I get shorts from. I bought it at a get away price of $24.99. I wear it mostly on summer seasons, when am going shopping and when I’m at home with my friends.

I suggest Hawaiian Dresses as a Perfect Summer wear for women. Hawaiian dresses are a summertime favorite for everyday wear and social party with friends. Various styles are available from long to short dresses and tie dye patterns to hot scenery bring the stuff to life. Island clothes usually originate from Hawaii, the Caribbean and Southern California but you don’t have to travel to one of these places to enjoy your favorite tropical fashion. Boutiques and online shops have awakened to the high demand of Hawaiian clothes so you can enjoy aloha clothing wherever you reside.
Although Hawaiian wear are designed to keep you cool in hot climate you may opt for a sleeved style over spaghetti straps if you get cold easily and will be out at nighttime. Always pick colors that balance your skin tone, eyes and hair color when choosing a new summer dress.

My Favorite Swimsuit Has 3 Big Advantages

July 11, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

I have three swimsuits but the one I like best is a two-piece but the top is long and goes all the way to the hips. So, it actually looks like a one-piece. It has three very, very big advantages. One, it’s light brown in colour, very similar to my skin tone. It has small flowers printed on the top in the same shade as the suit. This makes it look feminine and elegant. Two, because of the length of the top, it kind of holds my stomach in and makes me look slimmer, which really helps as I’m quite plump. Three, and a very practical advantage here, being a two-piece technically, the briefs are easier to pull down every time I have to go to the bathroom.

Sleeveless Vintage Summer Dress

My favorite summer dress is a vintage dress I got at a local thrift shop called The Attic. It was originally from Talbots. Its sleeveless, with a scoop neck, and a long skinny row of buttons down the front. It has a snug, wide band of elastic at the natural waist. The wide skirt comes down to just below my knees. Its plain white. In the hot weather, its very cool and comfortable. The vintage style makes me feel very feminine, and the tight waist makes me look very curvy without being uncomfortable. The plain white color can be jazzed up with bright accessories for a fun look or paired with classics for a timeless look.

Fab India Cotton Short Skirt

My favourite dress for summers is a cotton short skirt, which I got from an Indian brand name called Fab India. The brand sells prints that are unique to different Indian states and has a clientele of its own.
The skirt gives me an ethnic and trendy look at the same time. What’s more, since it’s white in colour, I can match it with various blouses—western as well as Indian cuts. So, each time I wear it, I can flaunt a different look.
The best part that I like about it that I can wear it at casual as well as formal occasions. If I match it with a floral print, it looks casual, cool and summerish. On the other hand, matching it with a plain red shirt gives it a formal look.
In fact, any skirt is the best summer dress that you can have. It’s cool, makes you look feminine and can be used for various occasions depending on its cut.

Liz Claiborne Navy Blue Sleeveless Dress

I bought my favorite summer dress, a navy-blue, sleeveless sheath at a Liz Claiborne Outlet store in West Branch, Michigan. It buttons down the front and is fully lined. The design is nothing extraordinary but the fit is perfect. It highlights my assets and disguises my flaws and is cool and comfortable to boot. I always receive compliments when I wear it. The comments aren’t usually about the dress itself but how good I look, which is even better. This dress can be rather casual when worn with flat sandals but can go more glamorous, with the addition of a necklace and heels. That’s why it has gotten a great deal of use these past few summers!

Costa Del Sol Womens One Piece Swim Dress

My favorite swimsuit is a 1 piece swim dress. It’s a beautiful piece and has a flair at the bottom, so I can wear it over the top of shorts or summer pants and it wouldn’t look strange. It is brown, with white floral on it. It is comfortable and it hide the tummy bulge that I am acquiring with older-age. I like the fact that it accentuates “finer” features, doesn’t show too much cleavage, has a built-in shelf bra but still makes it appear as if I had the waist of a 20 year old.

I purchased my suit, after searching many stores, at Meijers in Michigan. It made it more attractive that it was on sale for $29.99 and they offered a coupon for an additional 50% off any swimwear purchase! I found it strange that they would have this type of savings in the middle of summer — but just rationalized that it was “my lucky day”.

The brand name of my suit is: Costa Del Sol

As previously stated, you can wear it with shorts or pants or alone (depending on where you are going) — last year, I wore this piece almost every other day simply because of it’s diversity (plus I was always ready to hit the many fine beaches we have in Michigan.).

Cotton is Key for Summer Fashion

I prefer wearing cotton clothes in summer. I usually wear ready-made garments and sometimes I also wear dresses stitched by my tailor according to my instructions. I always tell him not to put collars so that I can avoid sweating around the neck.
During the summer I usually buy loose cotton T shirts and cotton trousers in WEARHOUSE, the outlet which sell CAMEL brands. I also buy short pants and sleeveless tops on roadside so that I can wear at home.
My tailor always gives me the best advises about the new style running in the market and stitches according to that. But I never give others to select the cloths for myself as I am very choosy about the designs, prints and colors.

Pompea Italian Designer Red Bathing Suit

I only wear bikinis in the summer, because I’m thin and I believe that this is the type of bathing suit that is the best for me. I have several bikinis, but my favourite is one is “total red”, because it shows off my tan. The brand is Italian, Pompea. The cost was affordable and the quality is high. I use it on the beach, but not only there, in fact this is a wonderful dress for dancing by night at parties on the beach when I pair it with a shiny beach robe, usually something transparent. I like this suit and I’ve received good feedback from my friends, so I think that it is also a good mode to endure the heat and to be elegant at the same time.
