Zebra Dress

I had to be on a semi-formal dress for an organization event in two days. The problem is, I had no time shopping at all. I had scheduled activities and I was fully booked. What I did was phoned a friend for help. She is a model so she is supposed to have a good closet for the needy. Of course, she should have a dress that fits me. The one she offered me had a tube top and fille with black and white diagonal stripes, resembling a zebra It has a semi-A-line bottom and a straight bottom edge a few inches below my knee. She got it from Camisa, a popular botique in the Philippines. I had a classic black sandals that matched with the dress. It was after all, a simple attire. “It looks good on you,” my friend proudly said. “It’s yours.” I let out a happy sigh after my stressful week. I am not a materialistic person and it was the first time in my entire life that a dress made me happy.

I’m still using that dress for dates and events that involve people who, of course, have not seen the dress before.
