Michael Kors Pumps

My favorite piece of clothing is my Michael Kors pumps that I purchased 5 years ago at Nordstrom. The simplistic design and neutral tan color make for the most versatile shoe I have ever owned. Not to mention the straps that hugs the body of the foot and provides just enough sexiness to walk a little taller. Perhaps the most surprising quality of the Michael Kors are the cushion interior which are always comfortable and provide for an easy walk in the high heeled shoes. I can wear these shoes for any type of occasion from work to girls’ night out and even for a hot date on the town. Even the most basic outfits are jazzed up with this wonderful pair of shoes.
Wedge Heeled Rope Shoes

My favorite article of clothing would have to be my rope shoes. They are a wedge heeled shoes that looks like the heel is created or supported by a rope. The shoes tie around my ankle and are cream in color. The entire top of the toe area of the shoes are cream in color as well. I wear these heels whenever I get the chance. I bought these shoes on clearance at Wal-Mart for under $20. I have found that these shoes go with just about everything that I own clothing wise. I enjoy how I feel wearing them, the questions I get about them and the way they sound when I walk. I have been known to wear my heels to work, school (college), to the beach, to Sea World, on vacation to San Diego and many more places.
Metrostyle Is My Favorite Place To Shop

My favorite place to shop for women’s clothing is actually a catalog and website called Metrostyle. It used to be known as Lerner’s, and some women will remember seeing it in shopping malls years ago. Now, Metrostyle carries stylish, attractive, and very colorful clothes of all kinds: pants, capris, shoes, blouses, dresses, purses, jewelry, skirts, shorts, and more. I like them the best because their clothes almost always fit me and I do not have to return them. Also, they have good prices, many sales, discounts for club members, and free items, such as a purse given along with the purchase of a clothing item. Recently, I bought bra-friendly cami tops and capris from them. They are very comfortable. This catalog/site caters to women.
Stein Mart

Stein Mart is my favorite place to shop. It has very nice clothes ranging from casual to formal. There is a little boutique section which has very cool outfits. The store also carries accessories, shoes, gifts, linens. All clothes are not expensive but nice and unique. Best of all, they have sales very often. You can get 20% off of their already 50% or 75% of items. So for a $50.00 piece of item, you only need to pay about $10.00 after all the discount. I just got a very nice jacket for $10.00 there. The costumers seem from up-middle class families. The store also carries man’s name brand clothes at discount pieces. I always get them for my husband and my son when I go shopping for myself.
Birkenstock Sandals

My favorite item in my wardrobe has to be my Birkenstock sandals. I have the classic Arizona two-strap sandals that they have been making in Germany for eons. Mine are black suede and are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I have had them since 1999 and had them resoled once. They go with just about any outfit I own and you can dress them up or down. They aren’t good for formal wear, but with slacks or jeans or a simple black dress, they are wonderful. If you keep your toenails painted and throw on some silver toe rings, there is hardly anywhere you can’t go in these glorious sandals. I own seven pairs of Birkenstocks, but these are my all-time favorites. Its like wearing your house-slippers everywhere you go! The BEST shoes on the planet!
What I Love

My favorite place to shop for women’s clothes is an online clothing store called Roamans.com. They feature clothing from size medium to size 4X. It’s been a great place to shop over the last 2 years as I’ve been losing weight.
The reason it’s my favorite place to shop is because they always have bargains and offer special discounts, such as buy one get 1/2 off the second or take 30% off your highest item. All that wouldn’t matter if the clothes were bad. They offer cutting edge clothing, shoes, handbags and undergarments, along with great outfits for business and casual wear.
I recently purchased a fall jacket and some clearance bras that were originally $29.99 and marked down to $11.99. They mail a catalog to your home for browsing or you can just go online.
The Little Black Dress

My favorite piece of clothing that I own is my little black dress that I purchased at Victoria Secrets. Every year I was tired of trying to find something to wear to a Christmas Even or formal Christmas Party. I was spending lots of money on things that I would only wear one time. So a friend of mine suggested that I get a little black dress to wear to Christmas parties and events and I would only have to search for accessories and shoes. It was a wonderful idea. I am not a dress person and it’s very hard for me to purchases dresses. I went into Victoria Secrets and got the 5 way black dresses. I can wear the straps five different ways. So if I have 3 Christmas parties to attend then it will always look different. I usually go to Payless shoes and find some shoes to go with it and always wear different shoes. I then shop around for different accessories and no one really notices that it is the same dress.
Wishing You Were Ten Pounds Lighter, Making Yourself Look Twenty Pounds Heavier.

I truly wish more females would get correctly fitted for clothing and then purchase the proper size. You can cram your feet into a shoe that is a half-size too small because they don’t carry your actual size and nobody will really notice if you carry yourself in a certain manner. Sure, your toes may permanently go numb but you can still look relatively presentable. However; those same schemes do not work for bras, underwear, pants nor tops. Just because you can cram your 40D’s into a 38C does not mean you should, everyone can tell… and it does not look good!
Many females buy pants a size smaller and throw on a belt because they believe it holds those extra pounds back, out of sight, it doesn’t, people notice. In their attempts to look as if they have dropped a clothing size many females end up looking as if they went on a weekend bender at Carvel… then stopped by Pizza Hut on their way to buy new pants. Looking as if you dressed yourself, turned the clothes dryer to high, then crawled in is not flattering. Frankly, it is downright trashy and females should be wholly embarrassed for themselves and/or anyone they see dressing in that manner.
I beg of my fellow females, please buy the proper size and wear it well. Really, what is the point of being uncomfortable AND looking bad?!?

Tips for Looking Great

In today’s society everyone wants to look their best. For women, the choices can seem endless and overwhelming. Should I mix patterns with stripes, heels, flats? The questions go on and on. If you decide to where a printed pattern you should always match the size of your print to your body size. If you are a very petite woman then you can pull off a very small pattern. If you are petite and you wear large patterns, you can get lost in them. The same is true for the larger woman. If you wear a small pattern, it becomes confusing and overwhelming because there is so much of it. Remember to keep your patterns in line with your body size.
