The Cardigan, A Springtime Classic

My favorite piece for spring is the cardigan. Its a basic and can go with many different things like spring dresses slacks and skirts as long as there is a thin top underneath (but who wears bulky clothing in the springtime). Its thin but can give just enough warmth on cool rainy days and is easy too carry just in case. Its a classic piece that can dress up any ensemble when paired with a pearl necklace and some heels. If you want something a little less dated there are many different style variations available for all you hip trendsetter types. Many styles keep the sophistication of the original fairly intact so for those of you who don’t have one please go and get one and for those of you who do, buy more.

Wedge Heeled Rope Shoes

My favorite article of clothing would have to be my rope shoes. They are a wedge heeled shoes that looks like the heel is created or supported by a rope. The shoes tie around my ankle and are cream in color. The entire top of the toe area of the shoes are cream in color as well. I wear these heels whenever I get the chance. I bought these shoes on clearance at Wal-Mart for under $20. I have found that these shoes go with just about everything that I own clothing wise. I enjoy how I feel wearing them, the questions I get about them and the way they sound when I walk. I have been known to wear my heels to work, school (college), to the beach, to Sea World, on vacation to San Diego and many more places.

Naughty Monkey Shoes

My favorite article of clothing is a pair of Naughty Monkey shoes. Even the brand name makes them appealing! I bought them from Endless.com a few months ago. These shoes are peep-toe pumps with 3-1/2″ heels, covered with black and white houndstooth fabric. They are very pretty, and every time I wear them, other women remark about them and ask where I found them. The heels aren’t very practical for wearing at my office job, but when I need a self-esteem boost, they do the trick. They make my legs look great, and attract lots of attention. My Naughty Monkey pumps make me feel pretty.

Worn In Jeans

My favorite piece of woman’s clothing is jeans. I have one pair that is perfectly worn in. They can dressed up with a cute, sassy top and a pair of heels or dressed down with a sweatshirt and tennis shoes. They are soft and comfortable. They have been washed time and time again and continue to be my best piece of clothing ever. I bought them at Old Navy and paid about $30 for them at the time.

Tips for Looking Great

In today’s society everyone wants to look their best. For women, the choices can seem endless and overwhelming. Should I mix patterns with stripes, heels, flats? The questions go on and on. If you decide to where a printed pattern you should always match the size of your print to your body size. If you are a very petite woman then you can pull off a very small pattern. If you are petite and you wear large patterns, you can get lost in them. The same is true for the larger woman. If you wear a small pattern, it becomes confusing and overwhelming because there is so much of it. Remember to keep your patterns in line with your body size.
