Balaclava Winter Fashion

My favorite article of winter clothing is my balaclava. This item is actually geared towards use by both sexes. They are very similar to ski masks and cover most of the face, some with bill caps to keep the snow off of your eyes. They are very effective for battling the cold weather, something that is very useful here in New England. They can be picked up easily in most sporting goods stores for less than $20. Their first downside is that while they are durable, they are geared towards both sexes and not always what many women would consider attractive. More often than not they usually are available in just black and have that fleece or generically bland appearance. They never have any bright colors or flashy pieces. However when it comes to winter cold in New England, or anywhere else, I would take take comfort and function over flash and beauty anytime.

I find the easiest way to get into fashion in the winter season without having to go over budget is to get buy some stylish jackets and stylish boots. You normally are so bundled up during the winter season that the only real fashion statements come from your shoes, jackets, scarves and maybe a winter hat. It’s so easy to buy scarves in the most popular fashion colors too. They also have so many patterns with a variety of colors so they are easy to match with your jacket. They are inexpensive and such a powerful fashion statement. I have a variety of winter coats that are very fashionable. I like the bold colors with the unique buttons. Also, who says you cant wear dresses during winter? You can invest in a few pair of thick stockings and pair them with a great pair of shoes. I prefer black stockings with a pair of heavy black shoes.
