New York and Company is My Favorite Place for Women’s Clothing
July 5, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
The absolute best place to shop for women’s clothes is New York and Company. The style of clothes ranges from casual to business attire. When I go to the mall, I can make one stop and get everything that I need at New York and Company.
I actually just went shopping for my summer clothes at New York and Company. I was able to buy clothes for work as well as casual clothes. They have tank tops, t-shirts, bathing, suits, shorts (Bermuda, crops and shorts), dresses, skirts, vests, etc. I also bought light weight pants and light weight long sleeve shorts for work.
They sell sandals as well as jewelry. Do you plan on just lounging around for the day? They have the Comfort Zone which features comfortable clothes. Do you plan on working out? They have InMotion Fitness which has the most comfortable clothes to work out in.
The best thing about New York and Company is the sales. Shirts normally range from $20 to $40 while pants normally range from $30 to $50. However, they have a sale at least twice a month. If you give them your e-mail, they will send you news and coupons weekly. Most coupons are for $25 off a $75 purchase.
New York and Company is a one-stop shop for everything you need for the summer. I am heading back up there this weekend to buy some Bermuda shorts and tank tops!
Fashion Street, Mumbai, India

Firstly – Bargaining is the custom when shopping at street vendors in India, so please slash the price in half before anything else. India is a huge supplier of garments and beaded / faux jewelry to the international market and major department stores. This has created a local market in Bombay for any defective, stolen, surplus inventory. But by and large the clothes are of good quality, trendy, and probably the cheapest anywhere in the world. There are good bargains to be found if you know how to go about it.
You get anything for women’s clothing here. Ranging from all types of indian dresses like sarees, salwars, chudis, etc.
Stick to the casual stuff: shorts, shirts, t-shirts, summery dresses, cotton clothing.
If he says 200 you say 100, if he says 80 you say 40… and stick to it, maybe a little over that’s all.
If you can walk away with paying 50-60% of the asked price your OK.
Skirts in Spring

Springtime is my favorite season to bring my skirts out of hiding after a long Indiana winter. Skirts are my favorite springtime piece of clothing from my wardrobe. I have long skirts with delicate floral prints and vibrant bold patterns. I also have shorter skirts that are a bit more flirty. Skirts really help me get in the mood to enjoy springtime. I start tanning at the end of winter and so skirts give me a chance to showcase my tanned legs. I really like wearing a skirt with a great pair of high heel shoes. The cool breezes of spring feel wonderful against my legs.
Shopping at Old Navy

My very favorite place to shop for women’s clothing is Old Navy. I love their cute graphic tees, tanks and they also have great jeans! I also like their dressier tops and slacks. They always have fashionable clothing, whether you want to dress up or just go casual. You can also get great deals, so you do not have to break the bank just to look great! I have come away from a shopping trip to Old Navy with nearly 10 items for $30.00! You just cannot beat the clothing for the money you’ll pay. I have purchased tank tops for $2.00! Old Navy is a one stop shop for any woman’s shopping needs. It just does not get any better than this!
My Most Unique Clothing Item
March 10, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
The most unique clothing item I own was something I dreamed about before I ever acquired it. I had a dream about the writer Anaïs Nin, in which we were both sitting at an outdoor café in Paris. It was the early 1930s. She got up and walked away and I noticed her dress. It was a sheer pale pink organza, layered in tiers. A few days later, I went into my favorite vintage clothing store, and saw this exact same vintage dress hanging on the wall in the back. I was amazed, and bought it immediately, even thought its age made it too fragile to wear. But I still treasure it.

Forever 21

My favorite place to shop is Forever 21, they have great styles, and funky and fun clothes, plus they are very affordable. I love sweater dresses, and have purchased 3 so far this past winter, the great thing about it that none of them cost over $29.99 apiece. They also have a nice selection of cute winter outerwear/coats. I purchased a very cute red pea coat for less than $50.00. They also have great “skinny leg” jeans, which sometimes are hard to find, these also are very affordable, also under $50.00. They have a large selection of sweaters, dresses, slacks, jeans, just about everything you could want. Their clothes are fun, priced right and stylish. I do wish they would expand their shoe department, that is the only thing that is lacking, they could use more shoes.
Women’s Spring & Summer Clothing
March 9, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
My favorite piece of women’s clothing for summer and spring time would probably have to be a pink mini skirt and a tank top. During spring time I wear a light jacket over the halter top but during summer I don’t because I’m usually at the beach. Oh, in case you thought I was weird, I live in Florida and it’s always so hot in spring time, it’s even swimming weather in the middle of winter! Anyways, spring time is always the perfect time to wear pastels, light blue, pink, yellow, etc.
My favorite piece of spring clothing for women
March 8, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Being a woman, I am very much concerned about my attire. I have a deep passion for a rich variety of clothing that I could drape on myself. In Spring, I would like to wear short skirts and tank tops because Spring is the season which comes immediately after winter, the horrible season where we always need to wear our jackets, gloves, hoods and boots.
Spring is an excellent season bringing relief to us from the jackets. I always love to wear short skirts and tank tops as I feel myself comfortable with them. Generally I do shop at a variety of places. But the place where I frequently go is the JCPenney.
Clothes that I buy at JCPenney are really worth for their excellent quality and lifetime. Recently I bought a few skirts in JCPenney, their prices ranging between $25 – $55. The tank tops were damn cheap there because there was a Clearance sale and I made use of the excellent opportunity. I bought a few tank tops ranging between $9 to $15.
Steve Madden at Macy’s

My favorite place to shop for women’s clothing is Macy’s. I have purchased many items
from Macy’s including high heel shoes by Steve Madden, Coach leather goods, purses , casual
clothing, dress clothes, jewelry, under clothes, and pajamas. In the future I will more than
likely purchase more clothes, shoes and hand bags. Macy’s is not really the best store to
shop at if you are on a budget. I have bought shoes for $250, and purses for about $300 but it
is possible to find an occasional deal on certain items, but that deal is limited by size. For
example you may find a sales rack with jeans for $12 but the only sizes that are available are
0-3. Overall I love Macys and will probably shop there forever!
