Thick Cable Knit Woolen Tights
I’m from Michigan, where the cold wind seems to tear right through a person. This winter season, I’ve been deeply attached to my thick cable-knit woolen tights. These look quite chic with a tweed mini and boots. These woolies are perfect for pulling off a monochromatic look from head to toe, and they stand up well to the rubbing of the boot leather. On especially cold days, an added layer of socks ups the warmth factor. I’m never going back to wearing nylons, what a nightmare. It’s hard to believe women ever fell for that scam; everyday, another three or four dollars down the tubes. What a disaster. If the hose didn’t run while being pulled on, they snagged inside the boots. Others can keep the fake-leg look. This fashionista is staying cozy in cable-knit!
Ann Taylor Black Wool Sweater

My favorite winter wardrobe piece is a black wool sweater I bought from Ann Taylor. It comes down below my hips and hides a world of sins, especially during the holiday season. It goes well with a skirt or a nice pair of slacks. It even goes great with a pair of jeans. It fits close to the body, so its not bulky. The sweater has buttons up the front and sometimes I button it halfway. I would suggest every fashion savvy woman to get a sweater like mine. It also has pockets in the front so you can slip in a lip gloss.

Shopping at Marshall’s
December 30, 2008 by admin · Leave a Comment
My favorite place to shop for women’s clothes is Marshalls, because I can get quality, stylish clothes for less. It is a huge store so I can maneuver around easily with my shopping cart. The dressing rooms are plentiful and clean. Marshalls carries name brand clothes, shoes, accessories pots and pans, dishes, and small appliances at a reduced price. Recently I’ve purchased several Lillyette support/minimizer bras there for less than $10.00 each, I bought Nine West dress shoes for about $9.00, and a set of Emeril cookware for about $50.00. I bought my daughter tops and shorts in the current style but I don’t remember the brand names, but each item was around $11.00. Middle class customers are very happy to shop there, but I’ve seen upper class people in the store (also there were BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus automobiles in the parking lot). Even folks without much disposable income could shop there without straining their budget. Marshalls not only has low prices in general, but they have lots of clearance racks for even greater savings. I haven’t seen them advertise but I do get their newsletters to keep me informed about their merchandise.
My Favorite Piece of Clothing

Currently, my favorite piece of clothing is my Squee t-shirt. I bought it probably 7 years ago at a comic convention, and any time I travel, it always goes with me. It is black, and has the character being chased by a dinosaur on the front and it says “Squee” on the back. It is my favorite because it’s cute, comfortable, and gets lots of comments. Folks either ask what it is, or they know and are amused by it. I wear it to work on Fridays, I wear it shopping, I wear it out and about. I don’t wear it when I’m just running to the grocery store, or bathing dogs, because it is so precious to me. It isn’t even the sexiest thing I own, but it has lots of happy memories, and it makes my husband smile.
Make Your Own T-Shirts And Save Lots Of Money

If you are like me, you LOVE all the cool T-shirts now available with retro brands and icons on them. However, if you are also like me and plus-sized, you are probably sad that you can not normally find the T-shirts you want in your size. I have discovered a way to solve this problem and save money in the process. Make your own T-shirts. I buy my T-shirts at discount stores for about $6.00 each. The iron-on transfers will run about $10.00 for five of them. Therefore, for about $8.00, you can have a T-shirt that shows your own personal style for a lot less than you will pay in a retail shop, where they average $25.00 a piece. What is great about this too, is that the iron-on’s are for use in any inkjet printer, so you can let your imagination run wild!
Gujaratie Style Sari

I am an Asian. I love the sari draped by women in our region. Sari is a traditional item of clothing which women have been wearing since quite long. I wear a sari on different occasions like when I have some relatives visiting me. Sari is such attire which makes all women look good irrespective of their figure. Sari covers all the physical faults of your body and gives a graceful look. There are different ways of draping a sari and the main two are the Gujarati style and the Bengali style. Fashion designers now days come up with many ways of draping a sari and some are complicated but look very good on women. The accessories which can be used with the sari are many. From hair ornaments to the toes on your feet you have many ornaments or accessories to wear. You can select those which suit you best.
Shopping at Vanity

My favorite place to shop for women’s clothing is a shop called Vanity. It is one of the few places that I have been able to find the sizes that I need in a style that is in fashion. They have a wide variety of clothing sizes and the style selection is very current. They carry various things from jeans, to shirt and hats to purses. There are a variety of people who shop there; the most common is the age group of 15-30 years old. They very often have sales on their product. I happened to find a cool pair of jeans in the perfect size for a whole $3.99 since it was on the bargain rack.
Wedge Heeled Rope Shoes

My favorite article of clothing would have to be my rope shoes. They are a wedge heeled shoes that looks like the heel is created or supported by a rope. The shoes tie around my ankle and are cream in color. The entire top of the toe area of the shoes are cream in color as well. I wear these heels whenever I get the chance. I bought these shoes on clearance at Wal-Mart for under $20. I have found that these shoes go with just about everything that I own clothing wise. I enjoy how I feel wearing them, the questions I get about them and the way they sound when I walk. I have been known to wear my heels to work, school (college), to the beach, to Sea World, on vacation to San Diego and many more places.
