Dress Age/Body Appropriate

The biggest fashion tip I would give out to women for summertime fashion is to dress for the weather, but make sure you stay age/body appropriate. There are far too many women who are wearing clothes they should have stopped wearing thirty years ago. Also, people often forget when buying clothes or bikinis that they are buying for their own body, not the mannequin the article of clothing came off of. This includes old women wearing string bikinis, overweight women squeezing into skin tight shorts and belly shirts, and many other mistakes in fashion. Just because you are older now, and a trend has passed you by doesnít mean you have to pass it up completely. Take friends with you when you shop that you know will be honest, so they can let you know when you are close to crossing the line into having people stare at you for hours when you are trying to enjoy a lunch with your children. I believe the same thing goes about dressing for your body. If you are short, there are certain clothes that just don’t work for you. Many dresses need to be altered so they hang on your body the correct way, and don’t slip down too far past your knees resulting in a fall look instead of a summer one. Almost anything can be tailored for your body. Please remember to buy the right size clothing as well, instead of trying to fit into something that may have fit you before you had a child. With those two simple tips, I think any woman can have the right style that suits them this summer.
Scarves are in This Season

If you’re a bit of a fashionista who likes to keep up on current fashion trends, then a good tip to be in style for this summer is to wear colorful scarves. Either tied around your wrist, hair, or neck, bright scarves are very in this season, and is a cheap way to pull together summer outfits together so that they appear playful without being gaudy. Thiss is especially helpful if you’ve got drab looking last season clothes like I do. Tying a scarf around your hair is also a good alternative to hats if you’re not particularly fond of hat hair.
Fab India Cotton Short Skirt

My favourite dress for summers is a cotton short skirt, which I got from an Indian brand name called Fab India. The brand sells prints that are unique to different Indian states and has a clientele of its own.
The skirt gives me an ethnic and trendy look at the same time. What’s more, since it’s white in colour, I can match it with various blouses—western as well as Indian cuts. So, each time I wear it, I can flaunt a different look.
The best part that I like about it that I can wear it at casual as well as formal occasions. If I match it with a floral print, it looks casual, cool and summerish. On the other hand, matching it with a plain red shirt gives it a formal look.
In fact, any skirt is the best summer dress that you can have. It’s cool, makes you look feminine and can be used for various occasions depending on its cut.
I love flip flops

My black flip flops or “thongs” as some call them are my favorite article of clothing. I love flip flops and sandals alike but my worn black flip flops are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own. They go great with shorts, jeans, skirts or just about anything. The great thing about summer is that I can wear them all of the time. I love to get a great pedicure and sport my black flip flops out on the town. These shoes in particular have a foam support that forms or molds to your foot. I think this feature is what makes them so comfortable. It makes me sad to think winter will be here soon and I will have to part with my black flip flops until next summer.
