My favorite place to shop for women’s clothing is Maurices. I am a substitute teacher when I shop, it is usually shop for professional attire. I am always able to find several appropriate and stylish choices at Maurices. They provide a variety of slacks in appropriate hues and blouses in several colors and fits. I have a store credit card that can be used and paid off immediately if I choose. This card allows me to recieve several discount options in the mail. In addition to the store card, I have a punch card that earns me a 10% discount after it has been filled.

Shopping at Marshall’s

My favorite place to shop for women’s clothes is Marshalls, because I can get quality, stylish clothes for less. It is a huge store so I can maneuver around easily with my shopping cart. The dressing rooms are plentiful and clean. Marshalls carries name brand clothes, shoes, accessories pots and pans, dishes, and small appliances at a reduced price. Recently I’ve purchased several Lillyette support/minimizer bras there for less than $10.00 each, I bought Nine West dress shoes for about $9.00, and a set of Emeril cookware for about $50.00. I bought my daughter tops and shorts in the current style but I don’t remember the brand names, but each item was around $11.00. Middle class customers are very happy to shop there, but I’ve seen upper class people in the store (also there were BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus automobiles in the parking lot). Even folks without much disposable income could shop there without straining their budget. Marshalls not only has low prices in general, but they have lots of clearance racks for even greater savings. I haven’t seen them advertise but I do get their newsletters to keep me informed about their merchandise.

The Avenue is My Favorite Place to Shop

The Avenue is my favorite store to shop for women’s clothes. Being a plus sized woman in her 30’s, I like to be fashionable but I also like to wear clothes that fit me appropriately and the Avenue has that. Their clothes are stylish and can be worn in many settings. The clothes are universal; you can wear them to the office, on an interview, and then out to dinner.

I am only 5’2” and I can always find pants and jeans with a “short” inseam. They carry name brands and high end items as well as their “Avenue” branded products. They also carry shoes in Wide Width which is also important to me since wide feet run in my family. The accessory selection is awesome; you can always find a great necklace & earring set for about $12-$15. Lingerie is another great product in this store. The lingerie is made with a full-figured woman in mind, it is tasteful and fun.

I recently bought a great suit that is very slimming and the fabric is a knit that can be worn spring, fall, or winter. Not to mention that the cashier had some coupons that she applied to my order so by the time I was done buying about 6 pieces I only spent $40. If you join their mailing list they are always e-mailing coupon offers and in the Sunday paper you will run into 30% off coupons.

I love the Avenue!

Shopping at C.J. Banks

My favorite place to shop for women’s clothes is C. J. Banks. It is my favorite store because they carry clothes for plus size women that are stylish, comfortable and affordable. They have great sales people that are ready to help you find just the right outfit. They carry mostly sport clothes and some dressy pant outfits. I just discovered this store this summer and have purchased four pairs of summer pants and six blouses.

This store caters to 14W and up sizes. I am on their email list and I receive a sale flier once a month. I will continue to shop with them because when you are in the store the sales associates make you feel important and help you make wise decisions.
