Paisley Print Short Sleeved Summer Dress

My favorite summer dress is a short sleeved dress with sort of a paisley pattern on it in purples, black, and white. The short sleeves are flowy and very feminine looking, and I think part of the reason I get compliments on the dress whenever I wear it. I have a small chest, but the patent leather belt that sits just under my bust really seems to flatter me and make me look like I have a bigger chest than I do. I bought the dress at JC Penney a few years ago for around $20. When I got it I thought it looked a little plain and it was a strange length so I added a black hem of fabric a few inches long so that now it comes to about my knees. It looks great with my addition.

Great Summer Dresses

My favorite piece of summer clothing is a great summer dress. Summer dresses can be dressed up or down with a pair of pumps or sandals. They go with absolutely everything. I have many summer dresses but my favorite has a pastel yellow flowered print. The dress has nice feminine details like ruffles and a skirt that flows. I bought my dress at Bloomingdale’s a few years ago and still remain my summer staple. I wear this dress everywhere; I have worn it to the beach and to cocktails parties. It is a versatile piece of clothing. I also like this dress because I can throw on some leggings and wear it in the fall and spring.
