Paisley Print Short Sleeved Summer Dress

My favorite summer dress is a short sleeved dress with sort of a paisley pattern on it in purples, black, and white. The short sleeves are flowy and very feminine looking, and I think part of the reason I get compliments on the dress whenever I wear it. I have a small chest, but the patent leather belt that sits just under my bust really seems to flatter me and make me look like I have a bigger chest than I do. I bought the dress at JC Penney a few years ago for around $20. When I got it I thought it looked a little plain and it was a strange length so I added a black hem of fabric a few inches long so that now it comes to about my knees. It looks great with my addition.

American Eagle T-Shirt Dress

My favorite article of clothing for spring is a t-shirt dress. A particular one I like is American Eagle’s t-shirt dress. I got it at the American Eagle at my nearby mall and I paid around $19.95 for it. It came in four different colors but I chose blue because I like bright colors, especially when I wear dresses. The dress is made of cotton and modal jersey and has a small pocket on the left upper chest area. The dress has a braided belt around the side that you can use to accentuate your waist or remove to make a more flowy outfit. I wear this dress anywhere! You can dress it up with heels and cute accessories, or keep it casual with flip flops.
