Scarves are in This Season

If you’re a bit of a fashionista who likes to keep up on current fashion trends, then a good tip to be in style for this summer is to wear colorful scarves. Either tied around your wrist, hair, or neck, bright scarves are very in this season, and is a cheap way to pull together summer outfits together so that they appear playful without being gaudy. Thiss is especially helpful if you’ve got drab looking last season clothes like I do. Tying a scarf around your hair is also a good alternative to hats if you’re not particularly fond of hat hair.

Women’s clothing at Uniqlo in NYC

I absolutely adore shopping for women’s clothing at Uniqlo (www.uniqlo.com) in New York City. Their soho flagship store offers a wide variety of affordable styles that are all spot on the current trends. I especially enjoy shopping at Uniqlo for their selection of denim. I buy most of my jeans there because they are the perfect length for tall girls (I’m 5’8”). Even better – if you’re not tall, Uniqlo offers free alterations with your purchase! Their denim is reasonably priced, mostly on sale for $39.99 though you can often find jeans on sale for as low as $9.99! Uniqlo is also great for the basics like t-shirts and tank tops. If you hit the store on the right days you can even find affordable cashmere (my friend bought a cashmere sweater for $29.99). Definitely check it out for what I’m sure will be a welcomed change in your shopping routine – it was in mine!
