I absolutely adore Ugg Australia winter boots.  I know that there are a lot of people out there who will disagree with me, but they must be either lacking fashion sense, or complete snobs.  Everyone knows that Ugg style boots got their name because they are somewhat ugly, but once you wear them you should be able to figure out why they have been popular for decades.  They are the warmest, coziest, most comfortable boots I have ever put on my feet.  The thick wool keeps your feet toasty while sucking moisture away from your skin.  The sheepskin is easy to waterproof, and these boots become a woman’s best friend for a whole winter long.  You can wear these boots almost anywhere: to the bar, to a party, to work (but only in a casual setting), to class, out shopping, anywhere!

Sharp and Sassy Winter Fashion

Just because the weather is dreary and bleak doesn’t mean you can’t look sharp and sassy. Don’t let the wintertime blues affect your fashion sense. Winter can be a great time to have a little fun with colorful accessories. Look at all the different textures and colors now available for scarves and gloves – chenille, cashmere and velvet to name a few. And who wouldn’t love to slip on a pair of bright red leather gloves to accent a charcoal gray coat or navy pea coat. Then there is “outerwear jewelry” – the assortment of pins is amazing. You can use bold and brassy crystal one day and demure pearls the next. Anything to break the canvas of your old wool coat with a splash of color and shine.

Zebra Print Coat

I have two must-haves for winter. The first is an animal print trench coat. It is the perfect way to add a splash of pizzazz to your outfit. Top off a red, wool dress with a zebra print coat and you can go from the office to drinks with the girls without having to change. The second is a pair of black, pointed toe boots. The thing that makes a pair of boots so perfect is that you can dress them up with a cashmere sweater and a pencil skirt, or dress them down with a plain white, button down shirt and a pair of wide legged jeans and still look chic.

Women’s Long Formal Black Coat

My favorite thing to wear in the winter is my long formal black coat with my thick pink scarf. This coat is unlike any other winter coat; it gives my body a great shape yet is incredibly warm. It’s not like those other super-warm coats that make you look like a marshmallow! I love to wear it on a night out on the town. My pink embroidered scarf compliments the coat perfectly. I bought the scarf while on vacation in Rome, so it also holds very special memories for me, and I can remember that first trip to Rome every time I put it on. It’s a beautiful shade of dark pink elaborately embroidered with a floral pattern, with lighter pink and green accents. There’s just a touch of sparkle to make the scarf really pop against my black coat.

Leopard Print Cashmere Scarf

My favorite winter article of clothing is my leopard print cashmere scarf. I bought it on clearance at Nordstrom in New York City. In New York, you have to be prepared to weather all elements, so to speak, and my scarf does the trick in winter. It is warm, and I can wrap it around my neck with my coat, use it as a wrap in the office, and even wrap it around my face on those below-freezing, windy nights. I usually wear all black, so the scarf acts as a stylish-yet-functional accent to my wardrobe. I know I will use this for years to come.

Old Navy Pea Coat

I love the wintertime because I get to wear my favorite scarves and coats. I get scarves from all over the place; and I have a large collection of them. However, my favorite piece of winter clothing is my pea coat. I got this pea coat from Old Navy earlier this year and I absolutely love it. As I said, it came from Old Navy and it is a really good quality jacket and it is so warm and comfortable. It is an ankle length pea coat that is gray in color. Since it is a long jacket, I don’t normally wear it just around town; but I normally wear it to church or to other special occasions as it is a dressier looking jacket.

My Favorite Winter Outfit of Boots, Jeans, and a Button Light Sweater

The outfit that I like best for women during the winter season is boots, jeans, button light sweater, scarf, and a trench coat or a pea coat. The boots should be slightly below the knee with the jeans tucked into them. The sweater can be any color, as long as it does not clash with the trench coat or pea coat. The scarf color can match the coat, of be a neutral color. The scarf can be worn on the head or around the neck. This style will work for woman with any type of hair cut, and body size.

Bright Colors in the Winter

I am a woman that loves the bright colors. Born and raised in the Caribbean region I found a way to put my culture in the fashion of New York City. This winter I decided that I was going to have the prettiest, sexiest and classy clothes of the winter. I first decide that I need to make a statement, and what better than a bright very well-fitted red coat. That coat is the sensation every place I go, everybody loved it, also my sweaters follow the same approach. I have tried to stay away of the very dark colors that always mark the season, it gets to the point where the winter fashion get to bored fashion, no personal statement. So my secret, the thing that makes me stand out, is pick bright and pretty colors of sweaters and combine them with neutral pants or skirt colors, lace camis also make you very elegant.

Multiple Thin Layers with Colorful Galoshes

In order to avoid looking bulky and lumpy, wear multiple thin layers. The layers will create pockets of air, which your body will warm, keeping you toasty and looking slim. Try something like a tank top, a blouse or cardigan, a jacket and a trench. Try boots with a rounded toe instead of square (which will make you look boxy), and a slight heel if you can do it without slipping on ice. Don’t be afraid of colorful galoshes if you have to stick with a heelless boot, as winter is depressing enough without sticking with black and brown boots.
