My Style

My style is to match everything I want my colors to match, the name brands to match, and the style to match. If I’m wearing a pink and black top made by Baby Phat, then I need pink and black bottoms from Baby Phat. Every outfit I have must include accessories. I like to have earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches, headbands & hair ties, and again all the colors must match. With every matched outfit I make sure I have a purse or coach to go along with it. In this case it would be a Baby Phat pink and black purse. I even like to make sure the shoes match as well, and yes, those would be pink and black Baby Phat as well. Then last but not least I like to match the make up to the colors of the clothing. I know it sounds like a difficult outfit to put together, but if you shop like me then you have no problems finding what you need. Nothing gets in my way for fashion.

Silver & Sapphire Bracelet

My favorite article of clothing would have to be my silver and sapphire bracelet. It was an inheritance from my grandmother Julia. She was a little on the eccentric side, but her jewelry was always impeccable in taste. It is a large openwork cuff bracelet. It criss-crosses in a basket weave pattern with the sapphires placed on the areas where the silver crosses. It is approximately 2 inches wide with 24 sapphires. It is very special to me and I where it on the occasions where I want to remember my grandmother and when I just want that feeling on being close to her. It is definitely one of my most cherished possessions.

Here’s Looking At You Kid

Here’s a bulletin: your best fashion move would have to be buying a full-length mirror. Even better would be a three-way one, as in good stores. But a single will do and will keep you from hundreds of fashion mistakes. This is why artists often hold up their work to a mirror to get a real view of the painting or drawing. Your brain works differently when you do this, and it will save you from errors of proportion, uneven hems and just general rattiness. Fashion is hard work; get the tool.

Worn In Jeans

My favorite piece of woman’s clothing is jeans. I have one pair that is perfectly worn in. They can dressed up with a cute, sassy top and a pair of heels or dressed down with a sweatshirt and tennis shoes. They are soft and comfortable. They have been washed time and time again and continue to be my best piece of clothing ever. I bought them at Old Navy and paid about $30 for them at the time.

Karen Walker Necklace

My favorite item is my Karen Walker necklace. It was given to me by my older sister on my 21^st birthday, and I was delighted to receive it! It is a Sterling Silver lion jumping through a flaming hoop, and it has a diamond for an eye. Because it is the Karen Walker logo – and it is so very unique – I am constantly getting comments on how beautiful it is. I wear it all the time – to work and to casual events. As a New Zealander, I like to support our designers, and luckily, Karen Walker has some very beautiful pieces!

Women’s Panties Are My Favorite Article of Clothing

Personally I like panties the best. There are so many different fabrics and materials they can be made from, many of which are extremely soft and comfortable. (Silk and velvet are my favorites) I like really cute ones, nobody else sees them usually but I wear them for me anyway. I really like this one pair I got from an ex of mine; they’re hot pink and made of silk. On the rear they say “Warning: Hot Stuff.” It still makes me giggle. I do own a thong but I rarely wear it due to it being fairly uncomfortable. I’d prefer to just stick with what I know and love.

My Favorite Piece of Clothing

I have this loose shirt which can go well with just about anything. It’s a pink loose shirt with a black print on front which says “Rock Princess”. I can wear it with my skinny jeans, with the ends tied, or with my favorite loose jeans, if I want to feel comfortable. I can also wear it with my denim skirt; I just tuck it in for a neat look. Or with my black leggings, if I just want to wear it at home, during the weekends when I just want to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful day. This top is special because it was given to me by a boss I admire so much a couple of years ago.

Venezia Cargo Pants

I have a pair of cargo pants with the label Venezia on them. They are 100% cotton and they have elastic in the waist as well as a drawstring. These pants are incredibly comfortable because the fabric is very soft and they are loose-fitting. They are also convenient—I can carry my keys and billfold in them in the cargo pockets where they are less visible. The pants are dark blue and they go with anything. Sometimes I own clothes that I know I’m going to miss when they get worn out. This pair of pants is in that category. I’ve been looking for some like them, but I can’t find any.

Shopping at Kohl’s

My favorite place to shop for women’s clothing is Kohl’s.  I discovered this store about 3 years ago and I never shop for my clothes anywhere else.  I see all kinds of people shopping there.  I see teenagers, people in their 30’s and senior citizens.  They have a wide range of clothes for your shopping experiences.  I am tall woman so I find great deals on jeans there.  I always purchase my jeans from there.  Recently I went and purchased some Vera Wang bras and shirts for very reasonable prices.  I purchase all my clothing items there.  They always have great sales and they have early bird specials if you can get there in the early morning.  All their clothes are name brand and you never pay name brand prices.

My Daisy Fuentes Jeans

My absolute favorite piece of clothing I own is my Daisy Fuentes jeans. I bought them at Kohl’s and have never been happier with a pair of jeans. They are very comfortable but can are also very chic. They can be dressed up, or dressed down to be fun and casual. I usually have a hard time finding jeans, but these hug in just the right places and fall nicely on my usual trouble spots. The color is very rich and lasts a long time as well. The fabric, although denim, feels like cotton and breathes very well. I could not imagine going back to any other pair of jeans now!
